What does it mean when Facebook auto removes content?

If you see this red flag on your group, it means that someone in your group made a post that Facebook has identified as going against community standards, but you can check and verify.

If you click on the flag it will take you to the content so you can see the post and resolve the issue. Posts that have been auto-reported will not be shared to the group until a group admin has approved them. Group admins may also choose to delete the post and block the group member who created the post.

Does using specific emojis hurt your reach and engagement on Facebook?

An old rumor resurfaced this week that suggests that Facebook will demote your personal profile and your content across the board if your posts get too many angry face emojis. OR Facebook will suppress posts that receive sad and angry reactions. This has been debunked a few times by experts, data, and Facebook themselves. It’s false – engagement is engagement to the algorithm.

There’s more details on my page, and you can share it with your teams. They’ll want to know.

Facebook Set To Clamp Down On DJ Livestreaming From 1 October

Facebook recently released very specific new guidelines governing the use of music on live streams. Many of you have already noticed that your streams are being interrupted or deleted altogether when you play music, and it’s about to get more restrictive. The new guidelines read:

You may not use videos on our Products to create a music listening experience … If you use videos on our Products to create a music listening experience for yourself or for others, your videos will be blocked and your page, profile or group may be deleted. This includes Live.” (my bolding).

As a live seller, it’s likely that you’re using music in the background of your live sales. I would recommend using royalty free content to minimize your risk.

⚠️ Even with that content you can still be flagged (I was flagged for a live that had no music at all), but you can appeal and if no violation is found they’ll have your video up again soon.

  • Facebook is paying people to shut down their accounts ahead of the election (The Verge)
  • This will not impact any business owner with less than 250 ads running, but I want you to know in case you hear it somewhere else. Facebook Announces New Limits on How Many Ads Pages Can Run Concurrently (Social Media Today)

Building Confidence on Your First Live Sales

You’re ready to do a live sale to boost your engagement, but you can’t seem to press that Go Live button. Or maybe you do, but you feel weird and awkward on screen, and aren’t sure what to talk about when you have a small audience that doesn’t talk much, or no audience at all.

I partnered up with BeLive to share the 3 core activities that will boost your confidence on every live from here on out. Free on Facebook! We talked about:

  • 👉 Why live selling is scary, and how to vanquish that demon once and for all
  • 👉 3 areas of preparation: Product, Promotion, and Workflow
  • Successfully using these tools to increase revenue while selling live
